The thing about copyright...

"You cannot use anything you don't make yourself". This is an extremely vague statement because yes, you can use things that you don't make yourself. I use other's people work all the time. But that's getting technical. The way that I use them is by referencing them. I admit, you cannot submit anything or claim any other work that is really not your work, however, you CAN actually use them. This is usually referring to information, though. In this media class, more likely we are going to use images with copyright and such. We are able to because we are students who are not making profit in any way while doing the project, however, we may not publish it as our own photos/music/videos.
